Why Can't Illuminated Brass Pieces be Reproduced?

High quality reproductions are available for many painting styles using print technology. Some, like giclées, are printed on canvas and can even capture texture like an original painting. These techniques are unable to accurately reproduce the animating effect of illuminated brass originals due to the metal surface. The same scene can be repainted but each painting will have differences that makes it unique. For this reason, I am unable to offer reproductions of existing artwork that incorporates metal. I do offer reproductions of paintings on canvas and paper by request.
